Itinerary Proposal
Upon landing in San José, a private driver will greet you at the airport and escort you by luxury vehicle to your first destination: Arenal.
Arenal:
Kickstart your Costa Rica adventure in Arenal at The Springs Resort & Spa, a 5-star resort with stunning views of the famous Arenal Volcano. The rooms here are very spacious and they have the Club Rio Adventure Center on site, making this hotel a great choice for families. Here, we’ll arrange a few private excursions for your family: a sloth sanctuary tour, a visit to a local farm, and a tour of the iconic Arenal Hanging Bridges. Back at the hotel, the kids can enjoy plenty of time to splash in the pool, while the adults can dip in the hot springs and enjoy some spa treatments. At night, retreat to your spacious Two Bedroom Spring Suite.
Manuel Antonio:
After Arenal, a private driver will pick you up and take you south to Manual Antonio, a region known for its beautiful beaches, coastal jungle, and Manuel Antonio National Park. Along the way, you’ll stop for lunch and have the chance to see crocodiles at Tarcoles.
Upon arrival in Manuel Antonio, check into Los Altos Resort, a boutique hotel atop a cliff overlooking the ocean with spacious, modern condos that are perfect for families. Here you’ll stay in a Two Bedroom Panoramic Suite. While not a beachfront property, the hotel offers shuttle service down to their small private cove, where there are lounge chairs, umbrellas, and food and drink services for your enjoyment. If you want to visit Manuel Antonio beach, it’s only a 5-minute drive away.
Spend your days swimming and playing at the beach, and enjoy one organized excursion: a private tour of Manuel Antonio National Park, a must-visit destination for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. Your guide will take you on a hike through the park to immerse yourself in the lush scenery and spot local wildlife including monkeys, birds, and sloths.
Santa Bárbara
Leave the beach behind and head back towards San José to the district of Santa Bárbara, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to stay on a coffee plantation, an authentic Costa Rican experience! Your home for your final night is Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Farm & Inn, a boutique hotel with just 16 rooms on 30 acres of coffee fields offering panoramic valley views. This hotel features a cliff-side swimming pool, outdoor jacuzzi, and coffee tours — plus, it’s just 30 minutes from the San José airport, making your private transfer back to the airport a breeze.
